The house was designed by the architect Yonathan Munjak under the influence of a village spirit as can be seen with the use of wood, red traditional roofs and greenery surrounding. But the design also includes modern elements as can be seen in the interiors design. Aiko's task was to bring the architect vision to the most realistic cg visualization. Additionally to the client's final product, we also created a second version with a small twist as demonstrated in the movie clip.

Studio Aiko put its Scatter Simulations skills to the best in the latest architecture campaign for Gottesman-Szmelcman Architecture, creating a swarm of 3D Villas and plants in a realistic environment. Designed by Gottesman-Szmelcman Architecture, Terra Porra Villas are surrounded by dramatic pink and grey rock formations and by a rich scented flora, which is so unique to Corsica. Our goal, in this project, was to make a 3D vision of harmony and a privileged feeling. All 17 villas incorporate 20 meters long pools, which reflect the sky and wealth of the surrounding landscape and terraced gardens that are enriched with abundant herbs and fruit trees. The result gives both a contemporary and Mediterranean feeling, reflecting an ideal notion of comfort and an informal living style.

Our challenge in this project was to create the dense vegetation surrounding the house which required some effort from our side. Together with the client, we understood the concept of the ecological house and with that knowledge, we approached it and tried to visualize the vision that the client was aiming for. The concept of this house, as described by the client, was to create ecological systems and infrastructure - the biological swimming pool creates a flow of water in and around the house. Also, the borders between the exterior and the interior is blurred by using wide open windows which gives the ability of the nature outside the house to flow inside it and be integral part of the interior design.

This Villa is one of 17 villas that were designed by Gottesman-Szmelcman Architecture. In this project we were asked to focus and execute interior and exterior visualization of one villa. The villa is located in island in Corsica, an island that is rich with vegetation and huge rocks and therefore our main task and most challenging one was to create in 3D a surrounding that is rich with vegetation and to plant the villa in it at most harmonious way.

This is the first time that Israel is building a national pavilion at a World Expo. The design of its pavilion resembles two clasped hands, symbolizing Israeli innovation and technology.
